The Lois Kaplan Charitable Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse is a charitable trust that was founded in 1997 in memory of Lois Kaplan by her son and husband who share her passion for the fight against the abuse and neglect of children.

Lois Kaplan spent years as an active volunteer working with abused children. Often, she would use her own money to take abused children to an amusement park or the zoo. She made them feel special which was what they lacked at home.

The foundation strives to continue her work with
the goal of preventing child abuse through family education and interaction.

The Lois Kaplan Charitable Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse is funded by private contributions. One hundred percent of these contributions are used to educate families and communities on how to prevent child abuse
through programs and counseling that focus on communication and parenting skills.
